Link Evilman walked up to the front door of the Thunderman household, hoping to pay his girlfriend Phoebe a surprise visit.
Although he was surprised when it was Max Thunderman who opened the door to greet him, looking disappointed to find Link on the other side of the door.
“Great, you're here.” Max said, walking in and basically inviting Link in behind him.
“So is Phoebe here?” Link asked the future super villain, entering the living room and sitting on the couch.
The two had always been polar opposites, meaning they often didn’t see eye to eye. Each straying from the paths their own fathers choose to use their superpowers for in the past.
Unlike Max however, Link only had one main power. Too stretch as far as his body would allow, with no clear limit to his abilities.
“No she went out for a walk so you can let yourself out there(pointing at the door), I’ll be in my lair.” opening the hatch that lead to his bedroom/lair behind the couch.
“Oh and if you see someone with a package on your way out, sign for me.” jumping down the slide, allowing the hatch to close behind him.
Link was just about to leave the Thunderman household when he heard a knock on the door, opening it up to see a delivery man on the other side.
“Evilbay deliver for Max Thunderman.” No doubt buying any other evil invention to use in his future plans to take over the world
“Um, I’ll sign for him.” Link said, taking the package and placing it on the coffee table before curiosity got the better of him.
Link sat down on the couch and opened up the box gently, using his elasticity to open peel the tape without ripping it.
The future stretchy superhero looked around to make sure nobody saw him, especially not Max as he opened the box and looked inside.
It was the shrinking gun that once belonged to a super villain named Professor Atom, a nearly undetectable superhuman who was never physically caught.
“Wow, how on earth did he get this?” hearing about the things Professor Atom did with the device in the past such as shrinking Landmarks and City Hall.
While he was holding the device a loose fuse resulted in him receiving a harsh electric shock, before he heard a noise off in the distance.
He knew it would look suspicious if anyone saw him with the shrinking gun, so he decided it was best to put it back in the box and leave before something went wrong.
Unfortunately he was one step to late to stop the unforeseen consequences of his actions, taking a seat on the couch as he watched the room spin in circles around him.
It then became clear to him what was happening, his body had been affected by the device and it was causing him to shrink in size.
Before he could react further his body began to shrinking at an increasingly alarming height, shaving a foot off his height with every second that passed.
It wasn't long until he was only an inch tall in height, falling onto the soft sofa cushion below him as if it were the worlds largest mattress.
"Great, now what am I gonna do. I'm puny, and if Phoebe see's me like this she's gonna know I touched the device." Link panicked, hearing another noise in the distance like he heard before.
Someone was coming into the living room but who, and from where?
1. Phoebe Thunderman- walks in through the front door and towards the couch, looking forward to taking her shoes off after a long walk and relaxing on the couch.
2. Nora Thunderman- coming downstairs from her room and manages to spot Link just before sitting down on him, deciding that he'd be helpful for her in eliminating her own boredom.
3. Chloe Thunderman- Walking into the house from the backyard after playing with Billy and Nora for the last hour while Max was suppose to be watching them. indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
