Jade woke up with a severe case of thirst. As someone who breathed through her mouth when she slept she would often wake up in the middle of the night quite parched before making her way to the kitchen for a glass of water. However she hadn't woken up in her house. She didn't know where she was just that she was outside stuck in the middle of nowhere. Still she needed to find water fast as her thirst was growing more intense. She got up and began to walk off in search of water.
Down on the "ground below" Jade unknowingly annihilated entire cities and towns under her feet. Luckily for the residents she was moving away from the more crowded populations centers towards the coast.
Jade continues her walk and begins to feel the ground to sink underneath her feet along like walking on sand. She keeps going till she hears the sound of rushing water. In her brain this could only mean one thing, she has found a small lake. In actuality she had walked all the way to the coastline and was on the edge of the ocean. Excited at the prospect at having finally found some water Jade kneels down, brings her lips over the surface and begins to drink. The water definitely had a strange taste but was none the less very refreshing. After slurping the water for a little while she feels something enter her mouth before going down her throat. A little caught off guard she just assumes she just swallowed a small minnow that was unlucky enough get caught in her mouth. A little grossed out she shakes it off and continues to drink her fill.
