An hour later, you and Tara were standing outside the bar, you on Tara's shoulder. The window had been destroyed from the shots. The victims, living and desceased, had already been transported. The police were still at the scene.
"Alright," Tara told you, "I've talked to the police and gotten a report of the victims." She pulled out a notepad and read off from it.
"Victim 1: Harland de Sang, Male, Werewolf, Age 44. Harland owns a bike shop downtown. The shot missed him, but he fell at an angle that shattered his arm."
"Victim 2: Jen Stoneworth, Female, Basilisk, Age 53. Night manager at Kenmore Warehouse. Hit in the back, collapsed lung, at the hospital in critical condition."
"Victim 3: Julia Fries, Female, Succubus, Age 25. Music video dancer for Maxwell Records. Hit in the leg, condition stable. Has Lactose Overload Syndrome, but I'm not sure that will be much help."
"Victim 4: Louis Steere, Male, Minotaur, Age 33. Unemployed, former SFX artist for Black Studios. Hit in the head. Declared dead on the scene."
"Final Victim: Rebecca Graphis, Female, Age 35. Computer Programmer. Also hit in the head. Sent to hospital, declared DOA."
Tara closed the notepad and sighed. "Five victims, two of them dead, no suspects, and too many witnesses. We've got a lot of ground to cover. Try not to get crushed." She then took you off her shoulder and set you on the floor.
