Chapter #4

The Cinema

    by: Unknown
Blake steps into her car that resembles a Porsche with tiger-like eyes for headlights before placing you in the cup holder. You see her looking lustfully down on you before she starts the car and drives off. You see that Blake is driving down the street to what looks to be like a cinema. "Oh," you say. "That's right. Three new movies just came out today." "That's right, handsome," says Blake full of lust. "And Lexi wants me to give them the once over."

You decide to look at the three synopsis in the pamphlets to get a good idea of what you were looking at. After all, you needed to know what to expect. As much as you hated working with Blake and were afraid of her trying to steal you away from Mazee, you were still assigned to help her and from the looks of it, there were three interesting looking movies to review.

The first movie was one called Royal Caper. From the looks of it, it was a murder mystery movie involving 12 monsters of different species who each related to one of the royal suits in a deck of playing cards in some way. But there is a killer among them who has a reason to want at least a handful of the others dead. You are initially interested until you read exactly who wrote that movie. "Jin Orobutcher?" you ask. "Oh no. I hope we don't have to review this movie. You heard of Orobutcher. You heard he was a tsuchinoko infamous for writing movies about death and destruction.

You hope that the second movie is much better, but then you see that the second movie is entitled Hundred Woods, it was a horror movie in which four mental patients have escaped into a cursed forest and while trying to survive the dangers of the woods, they were out to kill each other. Damn, why did the first two movies have to be horror movies.

The last one was hardly any better. It was a movie called Scarlet Moon. It took place during the 1712 werewolf vampire war and from the looks of it, it was a romance movie between a werewolf and a vampire. Leave it to Blake to use a romance movie as an excuse to get close to you. There was also a sub plot in that movie about a vampire scientist using a strange potion to convert other monster species into vampire versions of themselves.

Blake soon reaches the theater and pays for her ticket and yours as you ride on the horny weretiger's shoulder. "So, what movie are we reviewing, Blake?" you ask nervously.

You have the following choices:
