Chapter #4

For the First Time, I Have No Bad Luck

“Okay… I think this one from this monster shall do.” You said, just as you picked one of the letters at random. Yulong is right, Chinese dragons are wiser than western dragon, but of course each of the dragon sides has their own strengths and weaknesses. After you picked your letter that you wanted to do, you let Yulong know and then she proceeds to open the mail right up and notices the letter is from a teenage girl. Typical girls, but what this letter has a case that is quite interesting. Maybe this could be one of the jobs that won’t give you any bad luck today.

“Dear Yulong. I am writing this to you because I am having such a problem with my twin sister as I wanted to spend more time with her; however we are like polar opposites of each other. I am smart in academics, and while my sister is decent in her grades, she is more like an athletic and really takes her skills for granted. I just want to help her getting a better future as the finals are coming up, and we are both seniors, and I really feel like she should get into a good college and stuff. Is there any advice that you can give me, as I want to help my twin sister.” The letter said (from an unknown monster), and you were asked to read it out, and both you and Yulong were interested in what advice that you two could give to her.

“Well, this is a good one. Polar opposites! I would say that it’s here decision, but perhaps at the same time, perhaps try to encourage her, and also spend some time with her doing things that she likes, and perhaps she might start to see things her way as well.” Yulong said, as it is the wisest opinion. While you can encourage her, it is her own path that she chooses, and you should respect the path that she chosen for her life. You agreed with her stance with a head shake up and down. It is perhaps the wisest advice to give her. After all, everyone has a path that they chose in life, and unless it’s a bad one, everyone should respect the life that they have chosen. “That is a good way of putting it Yulong. You are wise.”

“That is true. Why not pick another letter while I write this once right now?” Yulong smiled just as she replied to your statement. “Like I said, I have nothing against the western dragons.” You then went out and picked another letter and opened it, and right after Yulong finished writing that one letter, she proceeded to read the next letter. “Got that one done, let’s see what this one holds.”

“Hello Yulong, this is Kari, and I am a drider. Both me and Sonia live in the human world, and we both want to help out the humans somehow, and both me and Sonia don’t know what to do, is there anything that you can suggest?” the letter said.

“That is an interesting question.” Yulong thought, and then proceeded to turn to you. “Is there any advice you can give them?” “Well I honestly don’t know. I really don’t know them myself. I really didn’t had a lot of experiences in my own world. My life was incredibly jinx with bad luck, and I caused so many problems that my town exiled me to Fearfield, so I honestly don’t know on that one.” You told her with completely honesty. “Well sometimes it’s view life that can make an impact. From the sense that what you had, it must seems that you have some negativity in you.” Yulong told you, and you listen to her advice. “That is true and I need to start looking more up. Besides, what I am doing right now doesn’t have bad luck. I could say that perhaps they could do some good deeds like playing with the kids, helping out in construction, and those stuff like that.” you told her.

“That could be some good advice. I will also add that perhaps if anyone ask them for help, perhaps accept the offer.” Yulong then replied to you. “I will grab one more letter than I am taking a break.” You replied to her just as you started to get exhausted. “I agree, some of these letters are quite challenging and could give your brain a hard time processing, also good to reduce the stress level.” Yulong replied just as she agrees with your idea. You then went and pick up the last letter you are doing with her for right now. This one is a bit of a juicy one.

“Yulong, this is your friend Argetha. Funny enough I am not one of those aggressive western dragons, and in fact I am kinda like you. I won the lottery and I am just a bit nervous about all the money that we have right now, and that I might end up going crazy with it. Is there any advice that you can give me?” the letter said.

“Well both you and I never won the lottery, but with money comes a big thing, good management.” You said to Yulong. “If I won the lottery, I would pay off the house, pay off the taxes, and invest in a business.” “That is easily the best advice I can give anyone. Don’t blow the money off so quickly. I had a few friends who I told them not to blow their money, yet they did, and… let’s just say that things went downhill for them.” Yulong told you just as she writes the advice for her. “Good idea.” You replied.

After you got the last letter done, both you and Yulong begin to take a good break from all the advice giving, and you prepare to later give more out. That is when…?
