"Hey, let's dial it back..." the wolf said to himself. "There's no way I could arrange for her to go on some island getaway..."
No, he'd have to settle for the (somewhat) more reasonable option of convincing Penelope that she'd won a sweepstakes or contest or something... But more importantly, she'd won a prize. As to what that prize would be... The wolf would have to think on that a bit.
He found the idea of dumping a near-literal truckload of cake, pie and muffins on her doorstep to be rather amusing... But how practical would that be? He wasn't even sure he could figure out how to get a truck through the clustered trees of the forest. He was sure he could make it work... If he could get a truck in the first place, anyway.
Arranging for the pig to eat for free for the rest of her life (which would probably be a month or two, depending on how patient the Big Bad Wolf could be) was probably a more feasible option. Maybe not as fun, but definitely more doable than dumping cake on the pig. Just drop a voucher or a gift card through her mail slot, and she'll (hopefully) just waddle on down to the restaurant and eat as much as she could without bursting. But now that the wolf thought about it... Would she go to the trouble of walking all the way to the nearest town for food? "Probably... I mean, how else is she getting all the food she eats? Yeah..." But, if she ever decided it was too much trouble to actually move her fat ass all the way to a restaurant that was less than two miles away... Well, he'd cross that bridge when he came to it.
While he didn't have anything lined up at the moment, he had faith that his network of "acquaintances" would come through for him... Given the right prodding and arm-twisting, of course. The wolf ultimately decided that both options were "feasible enough," given his potential means. The only thing left to do was to decide which he'd go with.
... He'd also probably head to Kinkos to make a nice looking "congratulatory" card to slip into her mail slot. Can't forget to do that.
