"A- Aunt Viva." Wincing, you replied. "She told me not to tell you because you are not ready to let go..."
"Your aunt is a fine witch but she is not a psychiatrist." Remaining calm, dad said. "Did she at least have the sense to guide you in your studies?"
"She called me every night to give me lessons." Calmly, you said. "I advanced on my own in between because it was just so fascinating and fun...." You winced at the end, seeing dad's face harden... he was not impressed.
"Both magic and chaotic science are dangerous in the wrong hands." Firmly, he said. "You were foolish to advance on your own."
"However, what is done is done." Calmly, James added. "All we can do now is move forward with your training."
"Indeed." Smiling slightly, dad agreed. "Therefore, we shall move forward with James and I advancing your training with a much needed foundation to build upon."
"A... foundation?" Worried, you asked.
Dad nodded. "I shall be teaching you the fine art of chaotic science." Proudly, he said. "Upon mastering the basics, magic will become child's play to you."
You did not know how to take that nor did you know how dad would react to you refusing his offer, if there even was an option to refuse...
