James gasped upon hearing Devlin's words. "Lord..." Gasping, he began.
"It is not the test you are fearing, dear child." Calmly, Devlin said. "I only intend to heal Jessica's eyes and give her a tour of your Alma-Matter." He then gave a rather mad chuckle. "We shall see how your little brother and father deal with her absence, knowing what had sent the event into motion."
"What am I to tell father?" Worried James demanded.
"The truth, of course." Simply, Devlin said. "It is illogical to lie."
James sighed then gave you a warm hug. "Take care, sis." Whispering, she said. "I'll see you when you return home."
This startled you as Jame then walked away without a word. "Grandpa..." Worried, you asked. "What's going on?"
Devlin chuckled. "I assure you, Jessica, you are very safe." Calmly, he said. "First, we will tend to your eyes and then I will show you what your older brother had been doing during his year away from home."
Twenty minutes later, James returned home to a very concerned dad who beckoned him into his study. "Tex had come to me in a panic." Flatly, he said. "He recited a teleport event and inadvertently sent Jessica to part unknown..."
James sighed. "The teleport event scorched Jessica's eyes." Softly, he reported. "She is at Eligere Sententia all boys boarding school."
Dad sighed, a look of disapproval on his face. "Has she been enrolled as a new male student for the year?"
"Lord head mad scientist, Devlin Moray wishes to use the event as a test and intends to give Jessica a tour of the school." Frowning, James replied. "I do not know who the test was on or for, he would not elaborate."
Dad turned to a window as if to think. Moments later, he sighed. "I must make a number of phone calls." Serious, he said. "Please ensure Tex is complying with the punishment I had laid down for reckless use of untrained chaotic science."
