I'm a girl, and that's why I'm an aberration to the directorate. I was born with a male body though I knew from an early age that I was supposed to have a female body. When I had seen that the company that pioneered all of this transformation technology was looking for volunteers for an age regression and transgender test I jumped at the opportunity. Well the tests worked and I found myself with the body of an eighteen year old girl. I was elated upon the success, I finally was myself. There were a couple of side effects to the procedure though. The telomeres in my cells no longer degraded with cell division, effectively stopping the aging process for me. The other side effect is that I now have a rapid healing ability, even to the point of regrowing a lost limb. I don't know just how far this healing ability can go. I think that if my head was cut off that my body would regrow from it as long as it was still intact. I don't want to test that theory though. Just becoming a girl was enough to warrant the aberration label for me but the side effects just added to it.
You may think that I'm a hypocrite for not really accepting what my sister did when I was changed as well. Let me make myself clear on this. It's not because she changed her appearance to look like a succubus. What I didn't really accept was her whoring herself out to pay for it.
If you look at my sister and I you would think my sister is the older of the two. She's actually much younger than me. She was a geriatric pregnancy, which by that point in time was beginning to be more common with the advances in science. Of course our parents died when she was two, around the time the directorate was getting started. I've always had the suspicion that the car accident that killed them wasn't really an accident, though I had no way to prove that.
Because of my healing I'm quite the asset to the resistance in what had been the United States of America. Still, we are struggling. We've recently found an old lab and we think we can use it to transform some of the directorate soldiers. Some of our scouts have identified a potential target to kidnap a directorate soldier, though we do need a diversion. I know that I'm expected to volunteer for the diversionary attack. Should I volunteer or should I wait to be assigned to either the diversionary attack or the kidnapping?
