The sound of footsteps approaching rings through your ears. You look into the hallway, nervously trying to see who's coming. The form of a boy, around 11 years old makes itself clear as he enters the kitchen.
"It's Matt.....I thought he'd be out visiting a friend all day! He shouldn't be here!" Tommy explains to you. "Well, let's just hope he's not hungry....." You reply back to Tommy.
"Tommy? You here?" Matt calls out in the kitchen, and looks around. "Matt! I'm here! On the table! Can you hear me?" Tommy calls out frantically to his younger brother.
"Hmm, maybe he's gone out with Eric or something..." Matt shrugs. His stomach audibly grumbles immediately after, and the young kid slowly rubs it. "Ugh, I haven't eaten all day! I wonder what we have to eat...." Matt groans to himself as he opens the fridge. He pokes his head around, looking for something tasty to satisfy him for now. With a disappointed look on his face, Matt closes the fridge, and sighs. "There's never anything good in there!" He whines.
Matt slowly walks around the kitchen, thinking about what he can make for lunch, until he comes to the table. His eyes first lock onto a weird looking gun. "What's this thing? A toy?" Matt picks it up and looks it over curiously. "Matt! Put that thing down! It's not a toy!" Tommy yells out.
Matt quickly pockets the strange toy, deciding he'd have enough time to play with it after he finds something to fill his stomach. As he does, his eyes spot two lone M&M's on the table. "Hey! Candy!" He says in joy before snatching up the two chocolates in his hand. He gazes down at his newly found snack, hunger clear in his eyes.
"This isn't good, Tommy! He thinks we're really candy!" You yell out to your friend. "I know! What are we going to do? He has the gun...we just need to make him USE it on us!" Tommy yells back.
"I know, but, we can't even communicate with him.....and if we don't do something soon, I think we're going to end up as a snack for your brother!"
