Alice and Melissa went to the food court downstairs. They ordered their large meals and sat at a table.
“This second lunch is so great. It’s just what I need at this time of the day.”
“I know right? Now though (chewing) I think… there should be a brunch at like ten.” Melissa said.
“Definitely. I actually saw an article that said *munch* that you’re actually *chew* supposed to eat *gulp* like 5 or 6 meals a day.” Alice said.
“That would mean Jenna is like the healthiest person ever, right?” Melissa said. They both laughed.
“That’s so mean, but so funny.” Alice said. “Seriously though, I think it’s actually true. Something about getting enough energy throughout the day, you need more meals.” Alice said. She didn’t really read the whole article but liked how it supported her unhealthy eating habits.
“It probably is true. People have said I eat too much my whole life, and I say I’m pretty healthy. I don’t have diabetes, I haven’t had a heart attack, my doctor says I’m obese, I’m doing pretty well.” Melissa said.
“I don’t think being obese means you’re healthy.” Alice said.
“No, I’m pretty sure obese is fine. It’s morbidly obese that means you’re unhealthy.” Melissa said. Alice decided not to correct her.
The girls gabbed and gorged until lunch was over. They heaved their heavy guts back to their desks where they continued to stuff themselves with fatty foods.
