Cassie, Marty and Tabitha had been lulled into an eerie silence as they read through the content of the dairy, while John had lost interest, leaving the books to the bookworms and taking another peek at the mirror to admire his reflection once more. before he heard Marty speak and came back to catch up on what he missed. However, the entire group jumped as the the silence was broken by the bang at the door.

"My Lady, sorry for the wait." came the servants voice, and the handle started to turn, even as Tabitha quickly shoved the book into a drawer and shut it as fast as she could without slamming it, turning around and striking against the bedframe to look as innocent as possible, Marty and Cassie following suit. John, seeing everyone else doing so, put his hands on his hips and tried looking gallant.

The door opened and the dragoness walked in leading a trolley stacked with trays of treats as well as a tea pot and cups. "I had chef whip up his best, can't be having out guests wasting away from fatigue." she says, as she goes about as if nothing is strange about the situation, and these weren't a group of complete strangers she caught climbing in the window. She sets a table with the teapot and plates, arranging them all expertly as if she has done it a thousand times and pouring the tea into cups.

"Here you go, my lady," she say handing a cup to Tabitha, curtsying before going back and bringing another cup to Cassie. "Oh, I wasn't expecting your holiness," she says, as she notices Cassie's attire, "I do hope this is to your liking," she says, bowing in deference.

"Uh, yes, this is lovely," said Cassie with hesitance, finding her behavior just as odd as Tabitha.

"And one for you Master Sage," she said handing a cup to Marty, who took it just as hesitantly. "So rare to see you out of the library, I do hope your research is going well."

"And... oh..."

The servant stopped as her attention fell to john, the dragoness' red scales surely turning a shade deeper. "Sir Knight," she said, apparently blushing as she approached him with cup in hand. "I... do hope you enjoy the snacks.". She says, her tone wavering in a nervous fashion.

"Thank you," Said John, oblivious to the situation as he took the tea and smiled. The servant turned quickly trying to hide her embarrassment before hurrying back to the cart. "I must be going, chores to do, ringmeifyouneedanythingmylady!" she says, hurrying off much faster then her large frame would suggest she was capable of.

"Well, that was... disturbing." Said Tabitha, tossing the content of the cup into a nearby plant and putting it back on the table with the snacks.

"It was like she thinks we're residents of the castle, or at least thinks she is familiar with us." Said Cassie, placing her cup calmly on the counter.

"Eh, could be worse" said John, not one for tea, he put it down on a cabinet, "Could have burst in here with an army."

"Hmmm..." murmured Marty, rubbing his chin as he pondered, "Sometimes magical servants are tailored to accommodate guests needs, but the diary suggests the enchantments here may have not gone as planned. Either she could be a flawed magical construct, or perhaps someone under a spell ." he says.

"Either way, it seems easy enough to keep up the act." said Tabitha, moving to the door, and cracking it open to look out the door. She saw the servant in the hall, sweeping the floor. Funny, the cart was not there anymore, she wondered how fast the servant actually was, or if this was another enchantment. As she thought this, the servant suddenly perked up as if hearing something and began to turn towards the door, and Tabitha quickly closed the it again.

"She's still out there," she told her group.

"Likely ready to take orders or serve," said Marty, "Theoretically, she's meant to serve the person in this room, which makes getting around her difficult as she will likely be drawn to you, Tabitha."

"Great," said Tabitha sarcastically. "So, any ideas?"

"We could simply order her to do a task that would take a long time to complete." said Cassie.

"Or I'm sure she probably has information about the castle," said Marty, "We could get some information about the castle playout if we ask the right questions."

"Just ask her to take us to the treasure." said John, "I mean, she is a servant after all."

Tabitha considered, "Or we could have someone distract her," said Tabitha, looking at John. She had noticed the reaction the servant had, and imagined she would be thrilled to entertain 'Sir Knight' for a while...

"

"Hmmm..." said Marty
