This choice: The screaming attracts nearby thieves • Go Back...Chapter #4The screaming attracts nearby thieves by: Gavalar   As the woman continues running & screaming down the street, a dark figure suddenly darts out of an alleyway in front of her. As the figure comes to a halt, the woman's head is sent flying into the air, her body soon trips and falls to the ground. The figure catches her head with his outstretched arm, and as she spots her headless body on the ground, she screams even louder than before. The figure quickly silences her screams by gagging her.
"Geez! Put a sock in it already!" He exclaims, before attaching the woman's head to his belt.
As you take a closer look at the male figure, you see that he is dressed in all black with a large hood over his head. He is also carrying a sword with a long thin blade. Though the blade appeared to be black also, it glistened as the sun reflected off of it. You came to the conclusion that he must be a thief like the ones that took Mikki's head. The thief, now joined by an accomplice, surveys the area before spotting you with Mikki's body.
"Well, what do we have here?" He questions rhetorically with an excited tone in his voice. "Looks like somebody left behind a treat for us."
You waste not time in dragging Mikki's body back in the other direction. As you glance back, you see that the thieves are already in pursuit and catching up fast. Mikki tries to make her body keep up, but even with your guidance, she struggles to make her body run any faster. As you both reach a bump in the ground, Mikki trips and falls to the ground. You help her to her feet as fast as you can, but the thieves have already caught up. As you try to run again, you suddenly feel yourself spinning in mid-air, then you see yourself racing towards the ground. The thieves had chopped your head off.
After your head stops bouncing around, you see that yours and Mikki's bodies have been restrained on the ground, and have been turned to face up.
"You know, I hate the 'Take only the head or body' rule. What if I want both?" The lead thief asks his partner.
"You don't think there's any rule against bringing in the part that one of the others left behind, is there?"
"I don't see why we shouldn't." The lead thief answers. He then kneels down next to Mikki's body to take a closer look at her.
"Say, if the other guys were willing to leave behind such a gorgeous body, then her head must be something REALLY special. I'll need to look for her when we get back."
"Stay away from her!" you yell at him. You probably should have kept your mouth shut, but your emotions got the better of you. The thief then lifts your head and looks you dead in the eyes.
"If you prefer, we can find a use for you instead, pretty boy." He mocks you. He then approaches your body while still carrying your head. Without warning, he takes a firm grasp at your groin, making you yelp out loud.
"Hmm. Seems like pretty boy has been concealing a nice package. I bet the chicks back at base would love this.
"So, what's it gonna be boss?"   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
