Nate stared at the options in bewilderment. So he was gonna be a super hero...or heroine for awhile, right? So why go for the stereotypical powers? Hesitently, he choses Flexibility. [Excellent, selecting Elasticity powers.] Beeped the machine. "Elasticity? But that's not what I-"
Suddenly, Nate felt the rushing sensation of air again as he saw the ground approach faster and faster. He thought for a brief moment that, if he was elastic, maybe he could stretch his arm out and grab something? Suddenly, a building whizzed next to Nate as he was mere moments away from the ground, the woman in his hands still screaming. "Better late then never, I guess..." Nate says as he tries to stretch out his arms to grab onto something. With some level of suprise, his arms do stretch out! And just in time; he suddenly grabbed onto a pole jutting out of the side of the building, and he winced as his whole body seemed to stretch downward, weighed down by the woman. "Get off, please." he says between short gasps, his arm stretching all the way down into a paper thin rope. Carefully, the woman climbs out of Nate's grasp.
"Thank you, Elasti-Girl!" "Elasti-Girl...so that's my name." muttered Nate to himself. There was a small crowd gathering around, cheering him on for his act of heroism. But presently, he was more worried about getting his arm off the pole. "Can someone help? My arm's sorta...stuck."
An hour later, Nate had un-stuck his arm, and was pleased to be able to feel it again. Out of curiosity and interest, stretched out his limbs a little bit to get used to being stretchy. He found he could stretch out his arms and grab things from far away with ease, and he could stretch out his legs to reach high places (although the men loved the view). "Being a super-heroine might not be so bad..."
