You manage to keep your eyes away from her rotating feet long enough to get out of the trance Alice had you in, you shook your head and start to get up as Alice watched you with a frown, you were supposed to be sniffing her feet as she commanded!
"What was that? what were you doing to me?" you demanded an explanation now knowing you weren't that tired to just lie down on the floor like that
"I wasn't doing anything Pat, I just suggested you were tired and you decided to lie on the floor for some reason" Alice answered as she started moving in the bed to leave you some space "Here, feel free to rest here a bit if you're still tired"
You still were suspicious of her, but you couldn't actually remember what exactly was what made you behave like that so you couldn't blame Alice with confidence, plus, you reasoned if she wanted you on the floor for some reason she wouldn't offer you the bed
Since you just arrived and had nothing else to do, you decided a bit of a rest would be a good idea. You looked around the room, thinking the deep purple was a strange but interesting choice for the walls and wondering if Alice would let you use her laptop to play some games later.
You start chatting a bit with Alice but notice she kept rotating her foot around, something that made the pattern in the stocking look captivating. Alice noticed this and smiled, she feared how after you stood up from the floor you might be more alert to her tricks, but seeing you fall once again for the stockings trick gave her confidence, maybe you just got lucky thr first time.
"... and that's what I use the laptop for too, to check some soothing videos and relax in my bed, laying down and closing my eyes until I fall in a deep sleep, where I can hear only one voice that I can trust and follow.."
This time you were on the bed, so as you followed her subtle suggestion you didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. You were taking a rest as you decided to do after all.
".. as if you were hypnotized and following whatever the voice says, falling deeper and deeper.."
