The role of the Goddess

Despite her trying her hardest to repel the suggestion to follow the unknown man and obey every order he gave her, the Queen was unable to resist the crude mind control. She was helpless until they group walked into what appeared to be a large cavern that had been partially converted into a throne room. The throne was similar to the one in Bowerstone Castle, although this one was made out of pure gold. It had a deep blue seat, and was flanked by two more Sand Furies. The man gestured for the Queen to take a seat, which she did.

"Now, we have brought you here because we believe that you are a reincarnation of the great Auroran Goddess. It is said that she is reborn every time Aurora is threatened, so that she may free her people. After she frees them, she assumes a certain form so that Aurora may prosper and flourish under her guidance", explained the man. "You understand this, yes?"
The Queen nodded against her will.
"As I have defeated the Darkness and saved Aurora, I am the person you just described. I shall therefore become your goddess, and allow Aurora to flourish under my rule", she said.

The man appeared to be satisfied with her answer and gestured to an unseen person. They soon showed themselves, as a woman in typical Auroran Robes walked into the Throne Room, bearing a gold platter with a blue potion on it. She walked right up to the throne and knelt before the Queen.
"My Goddess, I present to you the vessel that shall grant you your new form", she said, lifting the platter.
The Queen lifted the potion and...
