"Ranma, I have something for you."
"Huh?" He stared in confusion as the oldest Tendo handed him a cassette tape.
"It's an audio kit, all about helping improve martial artists." It wasn't really a lie. It certainly would improve Ranma.
He stared doubtfully before reluctantly grabbing it. "Thanks, Kasumi. Nice of ya." He didn't sound enthusiastic, but that didn't bug Kasumi one bit.
That night, just before he went to bed, Ranma spotted the tape. He would've thrown it away, but...
"Aw hell. Might as well try it, even if it's hooey."
Putting on his headphones and drifting off to sleep, the tape whispered in Ranma's ears.
