Chapter #7

Mellow Yellow

    by: Unknown
You look and see that your new skin was bright yellow. You tapped on your cheek to learn that it was also very thick. You see Roxy smiling down at you and then see that there's a large bandage on Roxy's neck. "Roxy," you say in surprise. "That..." "Oh," says Roxy. "Don't worry. It'll grow back. I'd give anything to save my best friend from death's door."

You let out a sigh as you look up at Roxy and feel around your body. For the rest of your life you'd have the skin of a gargoyle. Even though it was just grafted on, it already felt tight on you and appears to have started setting in. You feel your leg however and moan before Roxy waves her hand and hisses slightly. "I don't think you should be moving around too much. Fran told me to tell you not to come to work until that skin has fully set." You let out a moan. "Thanks Roxy," you say. "Ow. I can still feel the burns. Hopefully your skin won't be as appetizing to certain predators." Roxy lets out a laugh. "Good luck eating you now. Gargoyles aren't edible. Not even cannibals would touch us."

You're about to get up but Roxy gently picks you up and places you in her cleavage. "I better take you home," she says. "Wait. I don't think you should be at the beach for a few days in your condition. Why don't I take you back home to my house." You nod your head. "I'd like that Roxy. You're a good friend."

Soon after you both leave the hospital, Roxy is flying through the air with you in her cleavage. Your new skin is slightly itchy, but you can't complain. But that experience was scary. You were almost eaten and by Roxy of all people. If you hadn't screamed, your best friend would've devoured you and never have known about it. You'd have perished in Roxy's stomach. Thank goodness she had good ears.

Once Roxy reaches her house, which is a really nice looking place on top of a cliff, she unlocks the door and you both go inside. Roxy places you on a table as she walks into the kitchen. "I'll bet you're starving after that harrowing ordeal," your gargoyle friend says. "I'll go make dinner." You smile. "Okay, but nothing grilled please." As Roxy is busy cooking you see a photograph on her table. Roxy was in it as well as two other gargoyles, namely her younger sisters Petra and Janet.

Petra, the sister who arrested Hannah, was a tall orange skinned gargoyle who had to be 1000ft tall. She looked to be in better shape than either of her sisters given her hourglass figure and massive breasts. She also had long white hair that you wouldn't expect from a girl her age. Then again you didn't know how old Roxy exactly was; she looked like she was in her twenties, but monsters have longer lifespans than humans.

The other gargoyle, Janet was a bright red gargoyle with purple hair worn in a ponytail. She was pear shaped but still considered very attractive by monster standards. You heard from Roxy that Janet was working at a summer camp for girls this time of year. What you found surprising however was that from the photograph, both Roxy's sisters were taller than she was. Ironic given Roxy was the oldest. Though she was obviously the heaviest of the sisters. Not that you'd say it.

As Roxy is busy, you're busy feeling your new skin. It feels great and you got to spend a few days with Roxy recovering from the burns. Stupid Mesa and stupid Hannah. You hope you don't see either of them again.

You have the following choices:
