You groaned as you came around. ''What the hell just happened?'' You said aloud as you sat back up in your chair. You gasped as the air was so hot and dry. You looked out of the windscreen, the sunlight was so strong you could barely see. The city was gone, instead it was replaced with what looked like an great golden expanse of sand and dunes. Looking around you saw other vehicles, they was scattered around your car irregularly. ''Where the hell am I!? Wait, surely that report wasn't true.'' You gasped as you realised that indeed it was and you had been caught up in it.
''How could we be out in a desert?!'' You gasped as you exited your car. You looked up at the sky. It had a purple hue rather than blue and there was not one sun like there should be but four! ''This can't be happening to me!'' You cried in disbelief. 'This isn't Earth!' You finally realised. The sunlight and heat was to much. You re-entered your car. It was now like an oven. You tried to start it, but it was dead. ''No air conditioning then!'' You sighed as you manually lowered the windows and opened the sunroof. You sat silently, contemplating what to do. You could hear the others talking, you didn't shout in, not wanting to dry your throat. 'What if there's no water...' It must of been an hour when someone screams and points up a nearby dune. You looked up the dune to see something gigantic walking down it right this way...
