"I ... don't know what happened," you reply to her plea. Frankly it is true. You have no idea.
You think about for a moment while she sobs in what used to be your bed. It doesn't make any sense. Suddenly you just know that it was caused by a being that has decided to merge with you. It is almost like this being is telling you this somehow though not with words. That strange shadow entity did this, and it took your request. You wanted a new functional body and it gave it to you. As you think about it you realize that this being actually wants to do this sort of thing, and it wants you to direct it.
You look at the pitiful face of your pretty nurse and debate trying to switch back. You finally decide that you don't want to be confined to a bed for the rest of your life. You wanted a functional body and now you have one. You also contemplate that this ... entity ... did this for you and at your request. If it can do this sort of thing you don't want to get it angry with you, if that is even possible.
"I ... I'm sorry," you stammer and run out of the room. You feel a twinge of compunction but you push it out of your mind. Quite a few people give you strange looks as you run through the halls of the hospital but nobody stops you. You are quite aware of the differences between this body and your old one as you run. You can feel your new breasts swinging with your gait.
You think about it as you run but you are more preoccupied with getting out of the immediate area. Once you are out of this particular wing you slow down. Nobody stopped you or followed you so you reason that you just look like another hospital staff member if not an odd one. The scrubs that you are wearing hid your form somewhat but not enough that you don't look strange. You look like a short man with breasts. Several people stare at you.
You are curios what you look like so you decide to duck into a nearby restroom. You are fortunate that there is a family restroom nearby so you have the whole thing to yourself. You quickly close and lock the door. You want all the privacy that you can have.
With the door locked, you turn around and face the mirror. You knew that you looked odd before this moment from what you had seen, but you are surprised at how strange you actually look. Your new body is definitely female. You can clearly make out the feminine shape of this body. Your hips are too wide and your chest is clearly adorned with breasts.
With curiosity and a bit of fear, you start to strip down. You take off the blue scrubs and a few under garments until you are in a plain white bra and panties. Now you really look strange. You have a reasonably curvy short figure. You have minimal body fat. You aren't a model or anything and there are a few areas that are plump but not overly so. You definitely would have been all over this girl before you took her body.
You take a moment to cup your new breasts. You did so earlier but just briefly and in front of their previous owner. It feels strange to you. You aren't used to having feeling so far away of your body. You find that this is an alien experience. You can't believe that this is happening.
You slide the bra straps off and twist it around until you can unclasp it. You didn't realize until now how restrictive that thing was. It was only once change among so many when your head appeared on this body that it wasn't at the forefront of your mind. Now you feel unencumbered. You take a good long look at your new breasts in the mirror. You are getting a bit excited. You decide that you are done for now before you get carried away.
You struggle to put all the clothes back on the way there were. it takes a bit of effort to figure it out but you manage to get everything back in place. When you are done you look just like you did before which is to say strange. You hesitate only a moment before you reach out for the door handle and leave. As soon as you emerge you immediately are the center of attention. Even the children can see that your body isn't quite right. You look around and try to decide what to do.
