With a faint popping sound Oliver found himself appearing in a rather odd place he was on a enormous table or was it a countertop?
Whatever it was the thing was the length and height of two whole football fields combined! He could actually run across the thing and it would take him possibly two whole days to make it to the other side there was also a enormous flower pot on the table with a fresh bunch of flowers he had no idea what kind they were freshly watered and a coaster for glasses plus a picture one look.....
Oliver instantly knew where he was "What th- hold up that is Sonic the Hedgehog, the video game character from Sega Genesis? But it can't be...."
But no doubt it certainly was there was no doubting the blue spiky hair and body and red super fast sneakers he was surrounded by a few other animal characters Oliver recognized Tails, the two-tailed fox Sonic's best friend and kid brother so to speak but the others...there was a purple walrus with a green baseball cap and a weird fox like thing in some type of palace guard's uniform looking smug, a squirrel with bright red hair in a blue vest and a girl rabbit whose legs and lower body was covered in parts of a metallic form
"Tails I have no trouble recognizing but who are these other guys?" Oliver thought wildly as he was only familiar with the video games characters like Amy Rose, Knuckles and Cream the Rabbit.
He knew instantly but these people he didn't know who any of them were and so he took a closer look at his enormous surroundings everything looked primitive yet there was a computer in the far right corner of the room as he stood there pondering this the door at the left right suddenly opened up and the squirrel with the red hair and blue vest came walking in.
Fortunately she was too busy looking at a palm hand computer and speaking into it to take any notice of the tiny person on her table a few feet away
"Nicole please is the process ready yet?' As she took a seat in a wooden chair just a mere two feet from where Oliver was trying to hide behind the giant flower pot.
NICOLE was uttering a response in a female HAL computerized voice he couldn't quite make out but it didn't matter as long as he stayed hidden he thought
"She won't be able to see me I'll just have to wait until she falls asleep or something...."
But it seemed this squirrel girl whom Oliver soon learned was named Princess Sally Acorn was either stuck to her seat or else she was too engrossed in whatever she was doing with her handheld computer thing NICOLE she sat there for hours on end not even moving typing away or speaking into the device and Oliver's right foot began to fall asleep he couldn't stand it
"Darn it doesn't this squirrel ever sleep or do anything else?" He needed to move now as his foot was killing him so taking a dare he slowly began to inch away from the pot while keeping a watchful eye on the giant Sally in front of him in case her blue eyes darted towards him inch by inch he made his way from the flower pot until he was sure he could make a run for it behind the picture frame at least until he could plan his next move as Sally put up her computer and announced to herself how tired she was as she sought to get up and head to bed.
