Jack gives in to his cravings and goes to the d...

"No, it's fine. I'm sure it pass." His mother nods.

"All right." She waves a finger in Jack's face. "If you throw up through, we're sending you straight home." Jack chuckles and nods in approval. The ride to the diner became quiet, the sound of the radio filling the silence. On the way there, Jack struggles not to hurl on the seats. Once the Dales pulled up to the diner, Jack Sr. parks the car and gets out. Jack follows him, careful not to do anything that would upset his stomach. They get there and are escorted to a table near the window. The cool air helps with the nausea somewhat. The waitress comes by and they order the food and drinks. While waiting, his parents strike up a conservation about his love life.

"So sweetie, you seeing anyone right now?" His mother inquired. Jack's face turns red.

"W-well, I had a few flings here and there." His mind turns to the various one night stands he had with men and women.

"Well, if you ever see someone, tell us." His father injects. "We want to meet them and see if they're good for our little boy." Jacks gets even more red.

"Guys," He whines. "Don't embarrass me."

The waitress comes back with their food and drinks and they dig in. Jack bites into the burger and almost moans at how delicious it tasted. They take their time eating. Jack quickly scarfs down his meal and regrets it immediately. He tries to swallow down the taste of bile rising up in his throat. His mother notices.

"You doing okay sweetie?" Jack nods, not trusting himself to say anything. His dad wipes his mouth and looks to his wife.

"Well son, your mom and I have something to tell you. We're going to visit your mom's brother We're going to be gone for three weeks so we're leaving you some money and food so you don't starve." Jacks smiles, happy for them. Maybe this strange sickness would go away by the time they came back.

"Alright." His parents finish the rest of the food in silence. Once they're done, his dad calls for the receipt. He pays and they leave. They get in the car and go home. Once there, Jack goes to his room, changing into something more comfortable. As he's taking his shirt off, he notices something odd. He's always been a bit chubby but it looked like he ate a bit more then he usually does. He thinks nothing of it and heads to bed. He gets under the covers and close his eyes.
