Amoretta was rarely seen out of the dim theaters around her house, preferring to enjoy the beauty of cinema than the real drama about her. To many, seeing a fifteen year-old red-head seeing a film was nothing more than the social norm, but to see her almost every day since she was old enough to come on her own was something else. Every theater in town knew her by name and some had even reserved a special seat for her visits. Others had given her coupons for concessions, hoping to cash in on more than just admission,
One of the theaters Amoretta was often to be found in was running the french version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and as their tribute to Amoretta's consistent business, they had provided her a piece of Three-Course Gum for her pleasure for the duration of the movie. She was touched that they had gone to such a drastic measure for her, as most other theaters' gestures came off as shallow and self-serving, this felt honest and refreshing.
Finding her personal seat, Amoretta sat back and prepared herself for the film. A shame that she didn't prepare for what was coming next...
