"Well Lord, may I suggest that you first meet the other archangels?" Amia said. "I'm sure they'd feel more at ease if they first met you."
"Uh...okay..." Adrian agreed.
"Alright Lord, just will me permission to teleport you, and I'll handle the rest," Amia said. Adrian did so, and Amia teleported them both into what appeared to be some sort of boardroom, with a long table in it. Adrian then saw 9 other figures in white robes, on their knees before him.
"Lord, these are your archangels," Amia told him. "Naturally they're waiting for your permission to stand."
"Uh...you have permission," Adrian said, and they all stood up.
"Thank you Lord," said the only female of the bunch.
"This is Dorothea," Amia told Adrian, indicating the female. "She is my second in command, and is in charge of heavenly hospitality, as well as general tasks."
"It is an honour to meet you Lord," Dorothea said humbly. Amia then moved on to the men.
"This is Gabriel," she said. "He is considered the messenger of the Gods. This is Selaphiel. He is in charge of carrying out the fulfilment of prayers that you have approved. These two are Jegudiel and Raguel. They're in charge of the lesser angels, making sure that they fulfil their duties properly. These are Uriel and Michael. They're in charge of managing certain civilisations which have made pacts with God."
Amia then moved to the last man.
"And this is Achré," she said. "He is in charge of hell, and the torture of damned souls."
"I'm also Amia's husband," he said. "Isn't that right babykins?" The other archangels smirked at this, and Amia blushed.
"Yes, although I thought we'd agreed you'd only call me that in private," Amia said sternly.
"That vaguely rings a bell," Achré smiled. "And don't worry, I don't harbour any ill thoughts for having sex with my girl. It's not like you got a choice in the matter."
"Achré's very protective of me," Amia explained. "He's the reason why so many of the lesser angels are afraid to even talk to me."
"Well, it's great to meet you all," Adrian said nervously.
"Aw, he's cute!" Dorothea giggled.
"Anyway Lord, I believe it's time to get to work," Amia said.
"Um...okay..." Adrian replied, still very nervous in these angels' presence.
