I grinned.
Suddenly fog appeared from nowhere as I once again shifted my physical manifestation to the stage. When it cleared, I was sitting next to Jessica.

I've also heard that some of the stuntmen on the production had to be sent to hospital after the fight scenes. What do you have to say about that?"
"Well, for the stuntmen, it's a violent movie. Glorious Girl is an in-your-face hero, and she likes beating up evildoers. I wanted to portray the fight scenes as realistically as possible, so all the punches and kicks were landed, at least the ones I delivered." I turned to face the camera. "And pay close attention when the movie releases. I didn't use any stunt doubles." I turned back toward Jessica. "As for the sex and nudity, that's a normal, natural part of life. It really does boggle me why some people think teenagers, going through the throes of puberty, are too young to be exposed to it. I mean, I'm sure there's plenty of them watching right now, and how many complaints have we received yet?"
I grinned as everyone gasped in shock. Jessica had known going in that she would be nude, but the audience members had just signed some vague contract that could easily be read as granting permission to appear nude. "Is there anything special planned for the release?"
"Yes. I and the rest of the cast and crew will be on that plane, and you are invited to join us, Jessica, as will ten lucky members of this audience. "I'm also looking forward to meeting all of you, so get on those phones!" said Jessica. "On another matter, I understand the Glorious Girl production team has put out a rather interesting request concerning things like fan fiction and fan art of the characters."
"We have. We recognize that fan communities will grow--we can only hope ours will be anything near to what older, beloved shows and movies enjoy--and that they thrive on such material. However, there are certain topics that we will not have associated with the Glorious Girl franchise. To that end, anyone wishing to publish such material must first submit it to our legal team for approval, which they may give after consulting with the cast and crew. If it is withheld, publishing it will result in suit being brought against the offender, and similarly for anyone who publishes without first seeking permission. However, to make up for this, we will give serious consideration to hiring any fan writer or artist who shows real talent and passion for the material."
"What else are you doing to market this movie?"
"Well, unfortunately we couldn't have any of the sex or nudity in our TV and theatrical trailers, but really dedicated fans might be able to find a long trailer on our website that has, I promise, at least part of one sex scene between Glorious Girl and her secretary. We will also be releasing Glorious Girl action figures--anatomically correct, I might add--along with comic books, novels and graphic novels. They'll be available in stores worldwide on the movie release date, so right after you watch the movie you can run out and read more exciting adventures of Glorious Girl. "Sounds like you've got a lot invested in this. What if this movie isn't as popular as you thought it would be?"
"I and the rest of the team are confident that it will be popular. We've already started writing the scripts for both a sequel and a prequel."
Jessica cocked her head. "Looks like we have some winners for that contest, Heidi. Shall I announce them?"
"Yes, but first I just want to say that even if you miss out, you may still find Glorious Girl at your local theatre. It won't be me, of course, but I've seen the women they hired to play the part, and I'm not sure if I could pick me out of a lineup of them!
"And that brings me to another important note. Again, because there are things we will not have associated with the Glorious Girl franchise, we must insist that any cosplayers also send us a photo of themselves in full costume before wearing it in public. While we encourage anyone to try dressing up as her, and I can assure you that body type will not be a factor in our approving your use of our image, we must still enforce our intellectual property rights. Because we know cosplay can be very time-sensitive, there's a special filter set up as a fast-track for such requests. However, do not try to trick this filter into thinking that your art or fiction is in fact cosplay. It is extremely sophisticated and will flag any such attempt, which will drastically reduce your chances of acceptance."
I fell silent. Jessica, after a few beats, began reading off the winners.
