"Mom" visits Bridget

You remember your friend Bridget, who you've known since the sixth grade. She is one of the sweetest girls you know, and she's always been there to give you advice when you're in the middle of a crisis. You're pretty sure that this also qualifies as a crisis, and while she might not be able to fix the situation completely, she can at least assure you everything will be okay.
You also feel a surge of longing for Bridget. For most of high school, you've had a huge crush on her. She seems like the perfect girlfriend. All of your interests match, your personalities are very similar, and you've been loyal to each other since you first met. Even so, you've never said anything. The thought of being rejected and then losing her friendship terrifies you.
Visiting Bridget while in your mom's body won't help you win Bridget's affections, but with all the weirdness that's happened, asking her out seems a little less absurd... If you can change back.
The walk to her house takes maybe fifteen minutes. It's on the other side of your subdistrict, in the more wooded area between your house and school. You walk at a clipped pace in case your old body finds out you're gone and goes out hunting for you. You also hope nobody recognizes you and tries to start a conversation.
Aside from Mom's hair continually falling into your eyes, and her bra's tightness, the walk passes by without much trouble. You reach the front of Bridget's house. It's a pleasant hazelnut color. The design matches the surrounding wood and makes it feel like a slice of rural life in the middle of the suburbs. You see Bridget's window on the left. You could knock on it, or call for her, but that'd be too dangerous. You knock on the front door, and brace yourself for whoever will open it.
