The culture is on what you've experienced. It is also what the generations before you have experienced, so that you can continue on with your journey through life. You don't stop for anything except to learn more about the stories of old and what is there else to learn about it. How can I relate my knowledge to what I don't know?
You may dance, sing, write... tell a joke, story, etc. This is my culture. It does not infringe upon you or me, so you continue on with learning and understanding. God brought me here for a reason. He brought me here to this culture of mine and to learn of the other cultures around me. They are all similar in many ways yet different in other ways. Nothing has to be the same, but everything does have its foundation on belief.
There are so many books, papers, newspapers, videos, online material, etc. to learn about your culture and mine. But you always have it at the back of your mind--"what's in it for me?" ("What is there more to know that I don't know?") Peace is there with finding where you stand with your beliefs--this is your culture.
