Sarah was dumbfounded, struggling for thoughts let alone words. She didn't know what to make of the situation. She was surprised not to be angry but her overriding feelings were of curiosity and intrigue. She wondered what Anne had planned and decided she should play along. Although her rebellious streak wanted her to be as disobedient as possible, and the thought of further punishment excited her in ways she couldn't explain.
"Well..." continued Anne. "I'm going to take your silence as a signal of compliance. Now we're going to be here a while so we should make you as comfortable as possible" Anne caught the look in Sarah's eye. "Oh no my dear, the ropes are staying. What I meant was your outfit. How anyone can be comfortable whilst so restricted is beyond me" Wiggling her bare toes in the grass as she spoke. "You see the female feet were made to be bare, yet you insist on hiding yours away. I haven't even seen what they look like yet. But that's about to change. Sarah's toes curled instinctively, and she blushed. "No... I'm fine, I'm more comfy with them on... honestly" "Ha well that's another thing we need to change"
