"Okay," Citrine said, turning the pages of her plant manuel, "it says here that Devil's toe only grows in spots where Rafflesia girls have danced and let their sweat drip onto the ground. It says in this part here that Rafflesia girls are sentient plant people, all "female" gender in appearance that dance constantly while expelling both nasty gas and sweat. And they believe that holding your nose is a great insult and will eat anyone who does it alive... Of course they do."
Citrine sighed, then tucked her supplies under a stump and took one last breath of fresh air before heading towards the glade she knew the fungus would be growing. She heard giggling coming from the meadow and rattling that almost sounded musical, along with, of course, a foul smell. Once she got close enough to see the Rafflesia, Citrine hid behind a tree to watch them and maybe get a feel for their behavior.
The Rafflesia girls from the waist up had normal humanoid torsos (except for having buds or blooming flowers on their chests) and a green hue to their skin. At their waist, their body was connected to a large red speckled flower that they either hopped around with or extended vines from to walk around. Right now about five or six of them were all dancing in a circle, some shaking home made maracas and others singing. In the middle of them was the object of Citrine's desire: the Devil's Toe fungus.
The little goblin girl tried to be stealthy, but the second she set foot in the glade all the dancing stopped and the Rafflesia immediately noticed her. Before Citirine could cry out, she was surrounded by the plant girls, who immediately turned around and started bumping her with their butts! Their slimy butts were covered in gross sweat that stunk like onions, and to make matters worse they were cutting farts that smelled like rotten broccoli!
