Chapter #6In Nguyen's Dorm Room by: Jezimoon After you made your wish, the young woman who was previously blocking your way, seemed to wonder why she was accosting you in the first place. "Oh, hey Robert, good to see you again! Tell Nguyen I said hi!"
"Alright, no problem!" You said as you shrugged her off and hurried inside, savoring the power you held in your hand.
A short time later you arrived at Nguyen's dorm, wondering if you were in fact living here now. You checked your pockets for keys but quickly realized your new skirt had no pockets, and you weren't carrying anything but the watch in one hand. You sighed, "I am carrying a nice looking purse that had my wallet and cell phone and keys inside, and it is normal for me to carry purses wherever I go."
With that simple command, a purple leather purse appeared on your shoulder, and sure enough, it had all your usual belongings. You rifled through it a moment to find your keys, and began trying various ones on the door. Finally you saw one that was similar to your old dorm key, and just as the lock clicked, the door was opened from the other side.
"Oh! Oops, I'm sorry Robert, I heard you trying to get in so I thought you'd forgotten your purse again!" Nguyen said, beaming cheerfully up at you.
You smiled, noticing how much taller you were than her. Without these high heels you were already much taller than her, but now it felt a bit ridiculous. The tiny Vietnamese girl who you knew so well just seemed like a midget from this height. You figured you could fix that later.
"Hey Nguyen! Yeah I just found the right key, sorry!" You casually tried to play along. You still weren't sure how reality had changed, but it was off to a good start as she let you in without question.
You hadn't ever been allowed in her dorm before, and hadn't had the balls to sneak inside until the watch came along. The inside looked different than you imagined. You figured her room would be packed with girly things of all colors, and clothes everywhere. But in fact, it was actually quite tidy. She had her Tennis bag sat on the floor, the TV was on low volume in the background, and only a few small stuffed animals were propped up on the bottom bunk bed. Bunk bed? Yeah, it looked like the bed in her room was for two people to sleep separately.
"Oh no problem, I just didn't think you'd be by so early." Nguyen said as she casually walked away, sitting on the bottom bunk, curling her legs up comfortably.
You wondered why she seemed to barely pay much attention to you now that you were here. Almost like she was more interested in the TV show. You set your purse down on a chair and sat down right next to her, on the bed. You reached your arm around her shoulder and leaned in to kiss her cheek, like you'd done a hundred times before with her, but she jumped in surprise.
"Aahh... Robert? What are you doing?" She said as she pulled away almost in disgust.
"Kissing my girlfriend?" You said, baffled by her reaction.
"Your girlfriend? Listen, we may be girlfriends but not THAT kind of girlfriends, I don't roll that way hon, you know I'm not into other girls. What's gotten into you?"
You stood there with your mouth hanging open, almost heartbroken by what she was saying. Then it hit you. The way you had phrased your reality change... everyone would treat you as female, even Nguyen. So in this reality, you'd just been a girl roommate to her, and nothing more. Despite your obviously male body, she thought of you as female.
"Look I'm sorry I... well this is awkward." You mumbled, scratching the back of your head. You tried to think fast how you could fix the situation. | Members who added to this interactive story also contributed to these: |
