Liz was in the same situation that Alison was. She wasn't thrilled about it, however. She wanted to get a freshman roommate so she could meet new friends. This was on top of her not being all that crazy about Powers to begin with. Powers, despite being a very good school, was her safety school. She had been shocked when she got rejected to the ivys that her two sisters each had gotten into. Now, as the youngest and third child in the family she felt like the black sheep. Both her Mom and Dad were prominent attorneys. Her Dad had gone to Powers for undergrad, and urged Liz to apply there, even though he didn't seem to talk about his alma mater much growing up, and seemed more please about the tier 1 law school he had gone to.
Liz grew up rich, but always seemingly falling up short to the success her older sister would have in anything, sports, grades, boyfriends, and her Mom would make that brutally clear through underhanded comments.
One thing that her Mom was not above was criticizing her weight. Oh, not explicitly of course, but in hardly subtle ways. In 10th grade, Liz grew quite the potbelly, that was where her weight had a tendency to pile up, and her Mom actually photo shopped it in their Christmas card. At the time, Liz's potbelly caused her to have pretty large boobs as well, and some fleshy arms, and a little double chin, she was quite topheavy. However, over the course of the next year she worked out and dieted, in no small part because of her mother, and she dropped the weight and enjoyed her senior year as a skinny chick. She was cute, not hot, and had black hair, but was quite pale. Liz had some success in high school socially, but was certainly not the bombshell hottie that somewhat like Madison had been.
