"I never said I wasn't gonna eat them! My stomach just needs a break." Meg insisted, looking up at you with those puppydog eyes of hers.
"Oh Gawd. You ARE a glutton."
"Shut UP, Justin!" she smacked your arm playfully, smiling. Her stomach made a gurgling noise, a concerned expression fell across her face, and she fell back down onto your bed. "Ohhhh... so this is how regret feels..."
You started to rub her belly. Meg tensed up a bit, then closed her eyes and relaxed. "Mmmgh- thanks."
"I'm sorry Meg. This is my fault, I allowed you to buy all those terrible things."
"No, Justin, it's just that Lauren is a brainwashed party pooper that doesn't remember what it's like to be free." the smile returned to Meg's face.
"Pssh, that's for sure. The girl wouldn't know fun if it crawled up her intestinal tract and lodged there."
"Ew." and then, another stomach gurgle. "Ow."
"You're sure you're okay?" you ask, feeling concerned. Sure, your sister liked to eat but this was a bit much.
"Y-yeah, I'm sure. Just let me rest for awhile." you stopped rubbing her belly and got up.
"Do you need anything?"
"Tums."
You walked over and turned off the lights in your room, and went downstairs to get your sister some stomach medication.
============================
When you returned, Megan was already curled up in your bed asleep. You smiled, and set down the meds and glass of water on your bedside table.
You pulled a blanket and pillow out of the linen closet and slept on the floor next to your bed.
