All I can recall of the procedure was how peaceful the sleep was. I felt so comfortable, I almost forgot I was on an operating table. While passed out, I dreamt I was waking up in my sunny bedroom, wrapped in my silk robe. My white sleep gown, my favorite silk one with the flower print. I love that one so much I brought to the operation. In my dream my husband woke up next to me a held me tight. It was truly a delightful dream.
All matter of peace left me the moment I woke up however. The switch had been a success. I was now Donald, our overweight neighbor. I grabbed the nearby mirror and examined my bald head.
That's when I saw him, or her rather, or I don't know, my old body!
