"Don't feel embarrassed, we are both girls here." closing the bathroom door, mom said. "I need you to pull down your sweatpants and panties so I can show you how to use a pad."
I sighed, knowing that this was a part of a girl's life, and casually pulled down the sweatpants. Only, as I moved to pull down the panties, I spotted a red stain and quickly pulled them down to find that I was bleeding from my nether regions! Although I knew what was happening, my first reaction was to scream.
"Calm down, Cassandra." gently, mom said. "Its perfectly natural for a girl your age." she urged me out of my clothes then helped me into the shower. "Get cleaned up and I'll show you how to use a pad."
I took a few breaths to calm myself then screamed again as mom peeked inside, holding two bottles in her hand. "Mom! What!?!" screaming, I asked. "Get out!"
"You need to learn the fine art of cleaning yourself as a woman, Cassandra." firmly but kindly, mom said. "I grant you, this is an awkward time but its better to get it done and over with quickly."
Mom then went on to explain the body wash and shampoo before going on about not missing a single square inch of my body as a girl's skin is more sensitive. "Take care cleaning your nether regions while on your period." warning me, mom said. "It will be more sensitive at this time."
With that, she left me to take my quick shower. I was annoyed that she peeked in while I was naked in the shower but her advice and instructions proved useful as I discovered Cassandras' body, now mine, was very sensitive indeed. It was a small wonder why she used such delicate soaps and shampoos. "Why did Cassandra, or rather, I have to have my time of the month just after the body swap!?" annoyed, I asked.
"A girl can't control when it comes each month, dear." simply, mom replied from the other side of the curtain. "Its when it doesn't come you have to really worry."
"Mom, I just became a girl today!" blushing brightly, I protested. "Dating boys is the last thing on my mind!"
"I'm just stating the facts, Cassandra." patiently, mom said. "A girl has a lot more to worry about when it comes to sex than boys as they take the risk of getting pregnant..."
I sighed, stepping out of the shower as mom continued to deliver me 'The Talk' from a girl's perspective. "You are new to the feminine world, Cassandra." with a worried look, mom said. "I just don't want to see you get taken advantage of."
"Why are you calling me Cassandra all of a sudden?" curious, I asked. "Also, did you get me any clean clothes to put on before I go back down stairs?"
"That is who you are now... Cassandra." gently, mom said. "Its for the best if we call you both by your new names and move on; it will be easier for all of us." then a knock came to the door and mom peered out. "Thank you Amelia." she said. "These will do."
"You asked Amelia to get me clean clothes!?" startled, I asked. "Mom, you know how she is..."
"Calm down, her selections were not all that bad." smiling, mom said. "Besides, I ordered her to get them from your dresser, Cassandra."
I moaned, expecting a tight pair of pink panties, a mini skirt, and a tank top but sighed in relief when I found a pair of regular panties and bra with a pair of blue jeans, white socks and a yellow blouse. Mom giggled, seeing my reaction. "Amelia will undoubtedly annoy you later but, for now, let's get you dressed."
Minutes later, mom and I returned to the living room where Cassandra winced, seeing my annoyed look and mouthed, 'sorry' before jumping at the sound of someone ringing the doorbell.
"I'm not expecting anyone." curious, dad said, walking to the door.
