I had no trouble getting the panties on, they were just like my own briefs, just... softer. I winced, trying not to think about it as I then picked up the bra and examined it before releasing a sigh of relief.
"I'm glad Cassandra did me the favor of wearing a sports bra today," surprised by my new voice, I said. "It should go on much like a T-shirt, I hope."
Although I struggled slightly, trying to make the bra fit comfortably, I managed to get it on straight then turned to Cassandra's sweat pants and blouse. We had both agreed to wear gender neutral clothing to the procedure to limit the discomfort until when we were in the privacy of our own homes. It was the best thing we could ever agree upon, even though Cassandra never really liked anything too girlie. Once I was fully dressed, including socks and tennis shoes, I looked at myself in the mirror and sighed. "This is what I am going to look like for the rest of my life." whispering, I said. "At least she, err, I don't have a boyfriend at this time."
Taking another look at myself in the mirror, I slowly walked out of the room to find Dr Larry Thompson and his assistant, Gloria waiting for me with Cassandra, now David, standing nervously near by. "Gloria and I would like to thank you both for making this experiment a complete success." excited, Larry said. "You two have both made medical history!"
"Although your names will be kept a close guarded secret, your stories will be on the front page of every medical journal in the world!" equally excited, Gloria said. "Body swapping is now a reality!"
With that, Larry popped open a bottle of champagne as Gloria pulled four glasses from a box on a table. "Please join us in a toast to our to our success." pouring the first glass, Larry said. "After all, your two made it possible."
"Forgive me but... are we old enough to drink that?" wincing slightly, David asked. "Also, don't you think it's too early after an operation to drink alcohol?"
Gloria's smile faltered a little. "Sorry, David." realizing the mistake, she said. "We got caught up in the excitement."
"Yes, I apologize as well." looking guilty, Larry said. "Do you mind if we toast the two of you?"
David and I turned to each other then shrugged before turning back to them. "Please do." in unison, we said.
Larry rose his glass. "To David and Cassandra Mason." smiling, he said. "The twins who swapped bodies for science."
Gloria raised her glass in turn. "Here here!" smiling, she declared.
After drinking down the glass of champagne, they hugged each other, cheering. Once they had composed themselves, Gloria led David and I back to waiting room to meet mom...  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
