This choice: The puppets crown, a gift for Boa Hancock. • Go Back...Chapter #5The puppets crown, a gift for Boa Hancock. by: Unknown Luffy opened the book to the first page. On it was the image of a crown, and a description that Luffy did not want to read.
"A crown?" He asked. "Boring." He said, about to toss the tome to the side. Maybe he would just go to sleep after all.
However, his finger brushed over the page, more specifically the image of the crown, making it start to shine.
"Wha-"
Luffy was blinded as the light grew intense, shooting high into the sky.
"Ahh! Can't see, Can't see!"
~Over in the palace, with Hancock~
The Snake Empress, also known as the Pirate Empress, Boa Hancock was lounging in her bed. Her chosen love, Monkey D. Luffy, was hurting, and she could do so little for him.
She had no idea what drew her to the man. Maybe it was the fact that he cared about her without even knowing her when they first met, or perhaps it was that he risked so much to keep one of her own pirates safe, even when she was the one that put them in danger.
Or maybe it was the fact that he was the one man who did not fall sway to her charms as the most beautiful woman in the world?
It didn't matter though. Once the Kuja pirate leader had latched her heart to the man, there was no going back. He would be the only one for her, ever. No man would replace him, no matter how hard they tried.
She sighed once more, the beating of sorrow in her chest still aching as it had when she had brought Luffy back to her Island after the battle at Maineford and the loss of his brother. Luffy was distraught, and she could do little to quell it.
'Oh Luffy, my love. I wish I could help you more then I am already.' She thought, turning her head to the window that overlooked the jungle.
Only for her eyes to widen a she saw the large white beam of light.
In a flash, after her heart started beating once more, having stopped out of fear, Boa Hancock was running through the palace, naked as the day she was born.
As she ran, a few guards of the palace followed their queen, wondering why she was rushing in such a hurry, and where, not knowing until they were able to see the light from the jungle.
Some of them called for reinforcements as they rushed after their queen, wondering if they were being attacked by some unknown force.
~Back with Luffy, a few minutes later~
Luffy was rubbing his eyes, trying to see again. The light had died down, though it didn't help that it was so intense that it still left a burnt image on the back of his eye lids.
"Ah, stupid book. Last time I read again." He muttered as he blinked a few times. "Huh?"
Sitting on the ground, next to the dropped book, was the crown he had seen in the book. Sitting on the crown was a ring.
The crown was amazing, with no flaws in the crafting. It resembled a snake, poised to strike while sitting coiled. The crown was made of gold, though with the various gemstones placed around it, with two brilliant diamonds for eyes.
"What the hell?" He asked, rubbing one eye as he poked at the crown. "Is The book magic? It must be!" He said, suddenly thinking that it might not be so bad to read the strange book again, as long as it didn't blind him again.
"Luffy, my love! Are you alright?" Boa asked, suddenly jumping out of the jungle, still naked. Though, that really didn't faze Luffy much.
"Oh, hi Hancock-chan! I'm fine, thanks." He said with a grin, melting the pirate empress' heart all over again. "If You're asking about that light, that was this thing right here." He said, nudging the book.
Hancock blinked at the book. How could a book do that? Why would a book do that? And why so close to Luffy? She knew the light came form the clearing they were in now.
"Hey, Hancock-chan." Luffy said, picking up the crown. "Look what I found though. It's pretty cool isn't it?" He asked, holding it out to her.
Hancock looked at it, and it was indeed 'cool' as Luffy put it. It also helped that it was made in the image of a snake, one of the most loved animals on the island. And the fact that Luffy had described it as cool, which almost instantly made up Hancocks mind about it being amazing.
"Yes my darling. It is 'cool.'" She said, already feeling her heart beat faster in Luffy's presence.
Luffy looked at it, before looking at Hancock. "Do you want it? I mean, I already got my hat, and it fits you so..." Luffy trailed off.
Boa's heart did a flip, thinking Luffy was, in his own special way, proposing to her.
"Of course Luffy. Thank you for this." She said, her face turning an amazing shade of crimson as she held out her hands for the gift.
Luffy handed the crown to her, the ring dropping into her hand.
"Oh?" Hancock said, looking at the ring in one hand. She, for some unknown reason, wanted to give Luffy the ring. And, she felt bad about not getting him something, despite not knowing he would give her this.
"Here. Take this, my love. Think of me when you where it." She said, handing back the ring with a little lie, knowing that he likely wouldn't take anything from her otherwise.
Luffy let the ring fall back into his hand before he picked it up. "Thanks Boa-chan!" He said, putting it on. Now he had two things to keep safe. The hat on his head, and the ring on his finger. "I'll protect it, no matter what!" He declared, smiling at the Pirate Empress.
Boa blushed harder, her entire body heating up as she put the crown on.
However, if Luffy had read the description of the crown he would have known what it was about to do.
The crown would turn Boa into his puppet, following any order he gave. Not only that, but it would make anyone she ruled over loyal to him like she was. A nation of puppets, loyal to the end, who would take any order.
The only question is...
How far did the power of the crow reach with Hancock's various titles and positions? indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
