As Naruto showed his hand, Tsunade knew she was beat. 'Damn! But I can't do this! I know. I'll say that I have something more important at the moment, and say it will have to wait. Then, I'll hold out for as long as I can. Maybe Naruto will forget it after a while.' She thought as she started sweating due to the loss. She saw the slight glimmer of perversion in his eye. 'Jiraiya probably started to corrupt him on the training trip, but then everything happened with the war and all, so maybe Naruto forgot it for some time. Now that it was peace time though...'
Turning her attention back to Naruto, she spoke to him. "Sorry Naruto, but I have more important stuff to deal with. Can it wait for a while?" She asked, knowing she couldn't outright refuse him due to ninja code, rule 76. 'If you make a bet that doesn't include betraying your village, or if the mission requires it, you are honor bound to keep it. We are ninja, not dishonored bandits and thugs. If we are found untrustworthy, then who will go to you for missions?' Damn stupid ninja code of honor. It made no sense! They were assassins! Theives! Why did they need a code anyway? It just hurt the profession if you thought about it. Lieing and cheating was in their nature.
Naruto looked at her suspiciosly. "You don't plan on making up excuses do you? I remember when me and Pervy sage found you. Running from debt collector because of your gambleing problems. I will let it slide this time grandma, but not forever." He said as he packed up the cards, almost making Tsunade ask for another round.
Meanwhile, back with the book, it was hopping mad. Or, it would be, if it could hop. The busty lady just tried to back out of the deal it had made under the influence of the cards of chance! No one would have one over on its chosen. Not if it had something to write about it. (Get it? It's a book?)
How it knew you ask? Well, the Eronomicon makes a connection to the marked one when the marked one first touches it. It slowly corrupts the morals of its user, if they aren't already corrupt. it also nows when ever the marked one is about to get a lady for his harem, and it knows when something goes wrong or right. That way, it can give the chosen what he needs. Just another little thing about magic that everyone loves.
Naruto was on his way back to his appartment. He was slightly miffed about the fact that Tsunade didn't uphold her end of the deal. He was going to make her teach him about how to be hokage, and other stuff. Maybe fondle her tits or something, but still.
Deciding to look through the book that gave him the cards, he made his home even quicker.
