You played some video games as you sat in the break room, waiting until Trish finished up with a customer's order. While your usual job around the restaurant was being prepared as a dessert for others, being rented out as a toy, or entertaining guests, your mom sometimes gave you a break if you helped her with deliveries. This was apparently for a good friend of hers, so you knew you had to be careful with your cargo. After giving you the customer's order and going over the route you were to take, your mom kissed you on the forehead and sent you on your way.
You had to admit that you were a little bit scared of being out on your own. While you were a little popular at school, it was for the wrong reasons. You had spent a good portion of your class time being used as bubblegum, stuck to other students' shoes, or as a smear on their butts. You didn't mind it as much now, but there were still a few bullies at school that gave you an especially hard time, namely the Rowdyruff Boys. Living in the same region as them and not knowing your way around, you were usually worried about running into them.
That wasn't the only thing bothering you, though. Ever since moving here, you've felt like someone's been following you. You often hear a girl whispering and giggling behind you, sometimes being cut off by a squishing sound. You told your mom, but she just tells you you're being paranoid. The only time you feel alone is at home or, ironically, at school.
"*gulp* M-maybe I should've gotten a bodyguard...", you whimper as you head out, your arms wrapped around the delivery bag.
