This choice: Angela calls for a family meeting to implement new rules. • Go Back...Chapter #4The Family Meeting. by: AridWD   After eating a normal-sized proportioned of pancakes, Angela called for a family meeting. Naturally, your sister Catherine and older sister, Jenna who is currently on break from college, sits on a couch. Despite everyone looking as normal as they can be, you are a little afraid of what they all have the power to do.
Angela clasps her hands and takes a deep breath. "Okay, this is something that nobody could predict, but like with anything, we must adapt if we are to survive. I don't want to see any of my kids get eaten. I'm especially worried for Catherine and John."
Jenna is the oldest child and Angela trusts her to be responsible. Of course, she has a very firm personality and pretty much doesn't take shit from anyone. If there is anyone who can adapt to this new crazy world, it's definitely her.
"So, John can't defend himself if someone tries to snatch him, correct?" Jenna questions, glancing at you with some worry.
Angela frowns and sighs. "That is correct. He's the most at risk out of all of us being the single male. I'm not taking any chances with him, so I want all of us females to make it our top priority to protect him."
Catherine raises her hand even though there is no need to be formal. Seeing her mother nod, she curls her lips and rubs her tummy. "Um...if we get hungry, what should we do? Even though I ate a lot of your pancakes, I still feel like I need someone bigger."
S-someone?
Your little sister sees your shock and tilts her head. "What?"
"Y-you just said someone. D-don't tell me you want to eat a person?"
Catherine has never seen such fear in her older brother's eyes. She realizes she did say "someone" specifically without realizing it. She grows guilty and curls her lips.
"I...I'm sorry, I just...I think...I do," she admits shamefully.
Angela and Jenna stare at Catherine and nods, feeling the exact same way. They aren't shocked at all by the little sister's admission.
"I have that feeling too, but we have to do our best to suppress it. John is strictly forbidden in regards to eating. If you want to eat anyone else, that's fine too. As wrong as it sounds, we should still be embracing our hunger, but we should not lose sight of those who are closest to us," Angela explains.
You quiver a little in fear in hearing how the female members of your family are taking this so casually with eating people. Seeing your apparent fear, Agnela gasps and places a hand on your leg.
"Sweetie, I know you're frightened, but you have to trust that we won't harm you. That being said, there are plenty of families I've heard from that have experimented as well and are afraid of losing their children. This might sound scary, but we can take in people with other parts of our body that won't cause harm to whoever is inside. To be blunt, it's our womb, our butt, and our chest. Those areas have developed new cavities which you won't notice until you try taking them in. From what I hear, those are the safest place to store John if we need to."
You couldn't believe what you are hearing. The only words you hear is "take in".
"W-what!? You're planning on eating me?!"
Angela sees your panic and both of your sisters widen their eyes to see you so horrified like never before. "Sweetie, please calm down. We won't hurt you. I know it seems strange, but the best way of protecting you is to also embrace our newfound flexiblity. The worst place you can end up is the stomach though which we won't let happen."
You are still shaken, but you try to breathe, taking comfort in the fact that your mother's words seem sincere enough.
"...that said, we'll have to limit you against any contact with risky females. As far as I know, that means school is out of the question and that you'll be homeschooled."
You are not surprised by this and feel actually relieved. Considering most of your teachers are female, they would put you at the most risk if they decided they want to gobble down a student without a reason.
As a result, you give a heavy nod in agreement.
Seeing your compliance with the idea, Angela smiles and puts her hands over her son's shoulder in comfort.
"This next part will be...difficult sweetie, but I know you have a quite a few female friends. I can't afford to risk you mingling with them again. In fact, one of the first things I want us to do is eat all of John's female friends so that they won't be a future problem."
You freeze, unable to believe what you are hearing. Your mother really means to eat...Nikole...Megan...Rebecca...Amanda...Morgan? Some of those people are truly gentle and kind people who've stuck with a bum like you. How can they suddenly be enemies?
Seeing your shock, Jenna agrees and tries to explain rationally.
"Mom is right here, John. These friends of yours may be close to you, but that means they are also risky. Whatever caused us to become like this changed us mentally too. I think you've already seen it within Catherine. It doesn't matter who we eat, but we have a subconscious urge to eat people. If we are going to eat people, it's better to eat a female so we can remain fulfilled as well get rid of dangers."
You can't believe how everyone is okay with eating people. Putting your head in your hands, you exhale out a shaky breath.
"H-how can you all be s-so calm about this?"
Catherine feels sad to see her brother like this. It honestly scares her to see her brother, normally so fun and outgoing, completely shivering in fear. She tries some words of comfort but...
"Don't worry bro, we'll eat...I mean protect you!"
"Angela!"
"Sis!"
Despite immediate snap from Angela and Jenna, the damage is already done as you scream in horror. How on earth can you feel safe when every woman can eat you at a moment's notice?! Your precious little sister scares you for the first time and if she can make you believe that one day, she will eat you, how can anyone in this family resist the temptation?!   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
