Chapter #3Mai Valentine by: batjap   Mai Valentine, one of the greatest female duelist the world as ever known, was about to wake up after a good night sleep. When she woke up, Mai started to prepare herself, because that day was a very important day for her, it was the day of the final match of the eleventh duel monster tournament that she had participed in the last three months. She had won all the ten previous tournament and she was starting to get quite famous around the world for her duelling skills, and now she was ready to win her eleventh tournament. After taking a shower, get dressed, taking her duel disk and her deck she exited the house and went to her motorbike. After putting her elmet on she started the engine and then she headed for the tournament.
A couple of hours later...
Mai exited the dueling arena with the first prize trophy, all happy that she was able to win another time, she decided to spent the rest of her day shopping in Domino city. Once there she went shopping for new dresses, jewelery and so on, with her good mood to the maximum. After finishing shopping, she stopped to a bar and got something to drink, she heard the television news, and they were talking about the best duelists in the world. Hopping to be on that news, Mai got closer to the Tv and started listening. The speaker started talking " Yugi Muto once again confirmed to be the king of games, right after him Seto Kaiba take the silver medal, and even though Joey willer has lost a few matches, the statistic indicates that he can win the bronze on a global competition of Duel Monsters, and then..." and the speaker continued but he never mentioned Mai. Upset with that, Mai took her shopping bags and her trophy and decided to went back home. Once she arrived at home and put all her stuff on the table, Mai jumped on her bed and started thinking "Yugi and Joey, why is always those two, why can't i ever be on the news, sure Yugi is the king of game and all that but Joey? Come on! He is good but not better than me, he just defeated me once, I wish for another chance, a chance to defeat him". Mai was really upset and extremly greedy for a rematch with Joey when suddenly a strange light shined on the table of her room; once it was over Mai went to her table and saw a duel monsters card, and so she took it in her hand. She never saw a card like that, it was a field spell card and so, overcome by curiosity, Mai read the card "GIRL'S WORLD: This card can only be activated by a female duellist. If this card is activated female gender monsters gain 500 attack and defense points and cannot be destroyed in battle, while male gender monsters lose 500 attack and defense points. Once activeted this card cannot be destroyed. If your opponent is a male duellist, if he loses the duel, this card will change him into a female duellist". What will happen next?   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
