"Man, this is boring!" sighed May, as she sat under a tree to rest her legs. She had just left her hometown of Petalburg City about an hour ago, and nothing exciting had happened yet.
A small bag suddenly dropped into her lap from above her. "What the-?!" she stammered, looking up. A shadowy figure vanished before she could get a good look at it. "Was that a Pokémon?!"
Curious, she opened the bag, and pulled out a handful of small candies. "What's a Pokémon doing wuth Rare Candies?" she asked herself.
A thought occurred to her. "I wonder what would happen if a person ate one?" she said aloud, unwrapping one. Popping it into her mouth, she swallowed it. "Tastes like chocolate!" she exclaimed.
