A trainer regresses her

Good, but we now have to see why and how that trainer will regress Misty. I again can think of two scenarios:

-Scenario 1: A trainer fights Misty in a Gym battle, but comes very close to losing. Out of spite, he/she uses their last Pokémon to regress Misty in retaliation.
-Scenario 2: A member of Team Rocket (or another villainous team) encounters her, and decides to regress her to make sure she wouldn't bother their plans.
