You chuckle darkly to yourself when you see that the source of the spiritual power is just a little girl. To have that level of reiryoku at such age speaks of great psychic potential -- not that it matters, any more; now that you've found her, she's just another meal.
You stand in the air above the girl as you watch her walk down the street, bouncing a ball before her as she went. She is small, with pale skin and dark eyes, her black hair done up in cute pigtails.
You mouth waters, and you open it, letting a terrible, unearthly howl rend the air as you crow victoriously over the easy meal.
The little girl gives a start, stopping suddenly when you howl. Her ball bounces down the street away from her, forgotten. She turns around, glancing fearfully, uncertainly at her surroundings. Apparently she heard your cry, at least faintly.
Even more promising then you'd thought.
You slaver hungrily, leering down at the soon-to-be-meal. Though she could hear you, it's apparent she can't see you, at least not clearly. Furthermore, there is no way that little child can stop you, and you do not any spiritual powers even half as strong as hers for well over three miles. The conclusion is forgone, it's just a matter of catching up to it.
