Szayelaporro was never one to soil his hands. He lied and told Grimjow that Lord Aizen order him to attack Ichigo and inject him with a drug. Grimjow.asked what the drug was, Szayelaporro answered with a lie. He told Grimjow it would make the soul reaper more interesting to fight. Grimjow always liked a challenged. He agreed and set off to ambush Ichigo. Ichigo was alone patrolling Karakura town from hollows. Grimjow can from behind and attacked. Ichigo managed to dodge the first strike. "The he'll is this did Aizen send you?" Ichigo questioned. Grimjow ignored him and continued to attack. Growing bored of a one way fight he decided to try the drug. He used a sonido and injected Ichigo in the neck with the serum. Grimhow waited anxiously to see if the serum would make ichigo stronger he was shocked by what happened.
