You tell yourself to stop being ridiculous. She's just taking you out for dinner because you were upset... and you were upset because you wet your bed like a little girl. There's no way she's interested in you.
That night you have another dream. This time you are out on a date with Stephanie. A real date. You are sitting across table from her, illuminated by a fancy candelabra in the center. Once you have finished dessert, she stands up and takes your hand. You become aware of music playing as she leads you out to a dance floor and pulls you into a ballroom hold and begins to lead.
You are both dressed in ballgowns, yours pink and hers blue and the long skirts flare beautifully as you move gracefully around the dance floor. You feel like you're flying.
You are brought back down to earth by a growing dampness in your underpants. You quickly realise that you are wetting yourself as you feel the pee begin to dribble down your legs, forming a puddle at your feet.
"Did you have another accident?" she asks you, as if you were a child.
You nod, unable to make eye contact.
"Don't worry." she says leading you gently from the room. "Let's get you cleaned up."
You are filled with conflicting feelings. It's completely embarrassing to wet yourself like this buy Stephanie's caring reaction makes you feel warm and loved. These feelings stay with you as you slowly wake up. "Oh no." you say to yourself as you reach down to check your sheets, already sure of what you will find. "Great. I've wet the bed again."
Once again you bundle up your sheets and pajamas and carry them to the laundry.
By the time Stephanie rises you have showered and are eating breakfast.
"Good morning." she greets you with a yawn, still in her pajamas. "Did you keep the bed dry?"
You look up and just shake your head as you blush deeply. You feel like you could start crying at any moment.
"No. Don't cry." she rushes over and hugs you. "I didn't mean to upset you."
"I don't know what's wrong with me." you say as the tears come. "I haven't wet the bed since I was 6."
"Did you have another dream?" she asks.
"Yes." you reply as you realise you can't tell her about your dream without admitting your feelings for her.
"What was it about this time?" she asks the question you hoped she wouldn't.
