Tell her the truth

    by: Immaturity Author IconMail Icon
"I...um" you start. "Sort of wet the bed last night. I had to wash my sheets before I left"

"Really?" she asks. "Are you not feeling well?"

"No." you say. "I'm fine. I just had this weird dream."

"What sort of dream?" she asks.

"We were in philosophy and I couldn't understand what the lecturer was talking about." You explain. "I asked you but you said it was simple and only an idiot wouldn't understand it."

"I apologize on behalf of dream me." she says with a small smile.

"Anyway" you continue. "The lecturer heard me talking and made me stand up and answer a question."

"What question?" she asks.

"I don't know." you say. "It doesn't matter. I didn't understand what he was asking."

"Okay." she says. "Go on."

"Well while I was standing there I just began wetting myself." you tell her, blusing as you remember how embarrassing it felt. "And then I woke up."

"And found out you'd really wet yourself." she finishes the story for you.

"Yeah." you say.

"Do you think it's because I teased you yesterday?" she asks. "You know about Descartes?"

"I don't know." you say. "Maybe."

"I'm sorry." she says. "I didn't mean to upset you."

"I know." you say.

"Let me take you out for dinner." she offers. "To make it up to you."

"Thanks." you agree. "I don't feel like cooking tonight."

There is plenty of time to get ready so you start with a long shower, washing away the stress of your work day and the shame of your accident. You then take your time choosing an outfit. You want something cute but don't want to make it obvious that you're trying to look good for her. You realise that you are almost letting yourself pretend that this is a real date.

"You look nice." Stephanie compliments you when you finally emerge from your room in a short pink dress.

"Thanks." you blush.

She drives you to a nice restaurant where you have a quiet table for two. By the end of the night you have completely embraced the delusion that this is a romantic night out with your girlfriend. But is is a delusion? The way Stephanie looks into your eyes and holds your hand suggests maybe, just maybe she has the same feelings.

You have the following choices:

*Noteb*
1. Kiss her

2. Snap out of it

*Noteb* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
