Chapter #1

only the strong could belong

in the viking tribes theres a tradition to abandon weak children but when cheif stoic came to power he thought that it was a waste because though he was dim he was bright enough to know that he was dim and so was the rest of the tribe and the reason that threats like the romans were so dangerous was because it was easy for them to out think the vikings but he devised a scheme so that he would still be obeying the tribes former rules.

the idea was that any ill formed or genraly weak infants from their tribe or any other that they found floating in the tide (as most viking parents put the ill children in floating objects and cast them out to sea) and the would live on an unnamed volcano just off the shore of birks main land so they would not actualy be living on birk so not breaking the traditions, this also meant that because nothing grows on the volcano they would depend on the tribe for food as they were intended to be essentialy slaves and they would be steralised so that they could not weaken the blood of the tribe, also to make it clear that they were less than the real birkens they were not alowed to wear color or sleep on beds.

these all seemed like good decisions as the weaklings named the volcano pyrovillia meaning house of fire, they sleapt in the caves and made contraptions and weapons for the mainlanders and all was going well until hiccup was born.

hiccup was stoics only son and he was born small and underweight which meant that he had to live with the others but stoic fealt sorry for his son and proclaimed that yes he would live on pyrovilia as tradition demanded but he would be the cheif of the pyrovilians as a way of moraly conpensating.

You have the following choices:

1. next day

*Noteb*
2. hiccup is 5

3. hiccup is 10

4. hiccup is 17

5. hiccup is 30

*Noteb* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
