Serving her time in prison for her cover up of a murder, Lara Skye is surprised to hear someone has managed to convince a judge and jury to bail her out. She didn't think she deserved it, but with the news coming from her sister, she couldn't help but feel she needed to thank the person. At first she thought it was a famous blue suited lawyer who do this for her.
However she was quite taken back when she learned on her transport out of prison from a guard with her, that the new head of the prosecutor office had taken the case to a court. She was surprised, shed never though she'd get help from their again. What surprised her more was the fact the guard told her the bus would drop her outside the HQ of the prosecutors to go up to his office and meet with him.
"Right then." Lara said placing her hand on her chest, she still remembered all bad memories of that place, however she couldn't just not thank him for getting her out.
The trip took a while, however with passing cars and trees the bus soon stopped outside the prosecutors HQ. Lara was escorted off and with that left to make her way into the office. She remembered it all like ti was yesterday, she would come in take the lift to her shared office with Grant, who now was in prison rotting for this crime.
She felt scared to enter, however she had too. Stepping inside she found a young women her age waiting for her. "Oh miss Skye?" the girl said noticing Lara enter. Lara nodded before the girl started to explain that her boss was waiting for her in his office. Lara could have guessed this however she allowed the girl to take her up to the office and open the door for her. Lara walked on only to see the once shard office now was one huge room with a huge deep red sofa each side of the room, a huge desk in the centre and the organ removed.
The room now was full of pictures of old prosecutors faces with their name underneath including a picture of her, which hung behind the huge desk where her friend sat looking at her.
"Thank you Maggie, why don't you go on a break you've worked hard." the head prosecutor said to the girl,who thanked him and shut the door.
Now alone with her friend Lara said thank you.
The head prosecutor looked at her with a smile. "Well, well " he said getting up. "I'd never thought I'd hear that come from your mouth Lara Skye."
"I'm grateful for what you'd done, but what's the catch?" Lara said knowing all this was far too good.
The head prosecutor was pleased too see Lara hadn't lost her brains, he told her he needed her for something.
"Oh yes and what would that be?" she asked waiting for it, to cover something up, to spy on some poor mug. But instead her told her he wanted to tickle her.
"You want to tickle me?" Lara said confused. This was a strange request and at once she said no.
However it was then the head prosecutor began to make threats about her freedom and her sister.
"You leave Emma out of this!" Lara said, but the head wasn't he told her that if she didn't do this she would find herself in a lot of trouble with the law.
Lara couldn't believe it first Grant and now the head prosecutor. She had no choice and with she accepted.
