The famous treasure hunter, Rouge the bat dove into the abandoned pyramid, she knew there had to to be something left over here from Eggmans occupation of it, and what she found didn’t disappoint.
In a glasse case sat a gem much like the one she’d seen on Infinites chest, stepping closer her eyes gleamed as she whispered to the inanimate object “Oh poor baby, left all alone... don’t worry, I’ll be taking good care of you...” she opened up the case only for the gem to spring to life and fly up into the air. “Wh-“ the bat barely had time to respond before the gem lunged down at her, latching on....
