Alison was eating at the dinner table one night, when she reached for a cupcake.
“No more Ali, you’ve already had 1” her mother scolded.

“Please, just one more?” Alison pleaded.

“You’ve already eaten 2 servings, No more”

Alisons mother was skinny, and had been bent on the idea that a fat kid would have a sad childhood and therefore made sure to limit Alisons intake.
“Whyyy not?” Alison asked

“If you eat too much you’ll get fat” her mother replied sternly

“And so what if I get a little chubby?” Alison asked.

Her mother, Kate, thought for a moment. She decided she would teach her daughter a lesson. “Never mind, eat all you want, just don’t come crying to me when you’re too fat to go through the door” Kate remarked.

Greedily, Alison stuffed her face with the cupcake.
